Well... it all started when Emma, Charlotte and Laura came up with the concept. For three girls who love fashion, understand graphics and have a passion for the ins and outs of PR and journalism, the birth of STAMP was an adventure... shoots were organised, Photoshop became a way of life and many laughs were had along the way. But this was just the beginning!

When Charli joined the girls, there was a wine-fuelled ‘meeting’ where they planned and plotted, threw out ideas and slightly wobbly sketches, and slurred their sentences! That particularly memorable and messy night proved that the team was made up of four big imaginations and a plethora of ideas but that some order and discipline was needed...

I met the girls under serendipitous circumstances, became editor and disciplinarian of the enterprise and then there were five. Nearly a year has past since it all began - a year of hard work, continual meetings and air kissing. The launch is approaching and these past few months have been hectic! The girls are working hard promoting and putting the tabloid together whilst I interview, edit and liase with certain members of the press.

We are busy organising the STAMP launch party. This is on the 1st June, 8.30pm at Prohibition, Lace Market. Charlotte and Emma who have gone to Prohibition since it opened, met with the managers last week and had a great meeting, I know they have some fantastic plans up their sleeves. Allegedly, they left with huge grins on their faces having tried all three flavours of the STAMPovska, the exclusive cocktail for the evening.

The tabloid is coming together brilliantly and we can’t wait to see everyone at the launch, where there will be never-seen-before previews of STAMP.
